Knauf Insulation has announced the recent appointment of Kjell Thomsen to the position of Area Sales Manager for the North and West regions of Norway.

In this role Kjell will be responsible for generating new business and developing existing trade across the West and North regions of Norway.

New to Knauf Insulation, he joins the company with 35 years’ sales experience within the industry. On familiar ground, the majority of this time he was responsible for sales to builder’s merchants for the same geographical area he will oversee at Knauf Insulation. The companies he was working for previously include Stanley, Gori and Flügger.

Kjell Thomsen comments: “In my new role as Area Sales Manager I hope to draw on my previous experience and industry knowledge to grow the market share for Knauf Insulation’s mineral wool across the West and North regions of Norway.”

Kjell Thomsen’s appointment ties in with a wider recent recruitment campaign, undertaken by Knauf Insulation to grow their presence in the Nordic Countries. This has seen the opening of a new Customer Services office in Gothenburg, and eight additions to the team this year alone - six Area Sales Managers, and two internal Customer Services personnel.
